Parts Work (IFS)
Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a model of the psyche that is under the broader concept of Parts Work, which explores the idea of the multiplicity of the mind: the idea that we all have multiple "parts" or sub-personalities within us.
These parts represent different desires, urges, behaviors and feelings that are often at odds with one another, impacting our ability to lead ourselves and others effectively.

Q&A
Q&A
What is a Parts Work session like, and how does it differ from traditional therapy?
A Parts Work or IFS session is an internal journey, rather than traditional talk therapy. Instead of focusing on analytical questions, the goal is to dive inward and connect with the feelings and thoughts that are alive within you.
The focus is to help you have meaningful conversations and experiences with your own internal parts. These are often parts burdened by past experiences, and our work helps them release their pain so they can return to their natural roles.
We can start in two ways: by exploring what is present for you at the moment, or by focusing on a specific part, behavior, or pattern you would like to connect deeper with.
